Community Guidelines

At Liberian Global Network, we believe in the power of community. Our platform exists to connect Liberians across the globe — to discover each other's businesses, celebrate our culture, share opportunities, and uplift one another. These values guide everything we do:

We are a community built on mutual respect. Every member deserves to feel welcome and valued. We do not tolerate:

• Hate speech, slurs, or derogatory language directed at any individual or group
• Harassment, bullying, or intimidation of any kind
• Personal attacks or threats
• Discrimination based on ethnicity, nationality, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic
• Sharing private information about others without their consent (doxxing)

Treat others the way you would want to be treated. If you see someone being disrespectful, report it.

We want our platform to be a trusted source of real information. When you share content on LGN:

• Be truthful and accurate in all your listings, posts, and reviews
• Do not create fake accounts or impersonate others
• Do not post misleading information about businesses, events, or opportunities
• Give credit where it's due — don't claim others' work as your own
• Only share content you have the rights to share

Our business directory is one of the most important parts of our platform. To maintain its quality and trustworthiness:

• Only list businesses that you own, operate, or are authorized to represent
• Provide accurate business information including name, category, location, and contact details
• Keep your listing up to date — update hours, services, and contact info as they change
• Do not create duplicate listings for the same business
• Do not use business listings to promote illegal activities or misleading offers
• Respect the verification process — do not attempt to fraudulently obtain verified status

Honest reviews help our community make informed decisions. When leaving reviews:

• Share your genuine, first-hand experience
• Be fair and constructive in your feedback
• Do not post fake reviews — positive or negative — for any business
• Do not accept payment or incentives in exchange for reviews
• Do not use reviews to personally attack business owners or staff
• One review per user per business — do not create multiple accounts to leave additional reviews

The following types of content are strictly prohibited on Liberian Global Network:

• Content that promotes or facilitates illegal activities
• Sexually explicit or pornographic material
• Content depicting or promoting violence, self-harm, or harm to others
• Spam, phishing, or deceptive content designed to scam users
• Malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Content that exploits or endangers minors
• Political propaganda or election manipulation
• Any content that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law

We rely on our community to help keep the platform safe and trustworthy. If you see content or behavior that violates these guidelines:

• Use the "Report" button on the offending content
• Contact us through our contact form
• Email us at safety@liberianglobalnetwork.com

Our moderation team reviews all reports and takes appropriate action. We aim to respond to all reports within 24-48 hours.

Violations of these Community Guidelines may result in:

• Warning: A first-time or minor violation may result in a warning and request to remove or edit the offending content.
• Content Removal: Content that violates our guidelines will be removed from the platform.
• Temporary Suspension: Repeated or more serious violations may result in a temporary account suspension.
• Permanent Ban: Severe violations or a pattern of repeated violations may result in a permanent ban from the platform.
• Legal Action: In cases involving illegal activity, we may report the matter to relevant authorities.

We handle each case individually and strive to be fair and consistent in our enforcement. If you believe your content was removed or your account was penalized in error, you can appeal by contacting us at support@liberianglobalnetwork.com.
